Brescia
About
Brescia is a full brogue lace-up boot, i.e. enriched with small holes arranged in the typical swallowtail shape: a decoration born in Ireland with the function of draining the water collected by the shoe during frequent rains. Over time it has become an unmistakable detail of English style.
Full-grain textured leather
Hammered leather is obtained through the drumming process, carried out in order to enhance the beauty of Pieno Fiore leather. Thanks to the drumming, the leather acquires a grain of variable intensity which preserves the natural irregularities of the raw material, without losing its softness to the touch.
Extra light rubber sole
The Extra Light rubber soles are light and comfortable. The closed cell structure gives resistance to the shoe, protecting it from liquids, bacteria and external agents. The formulation of the sole promotes a "shock-absorber" effect which helps to improve foot support.
Blake Rapid processing
The Blake Rapid process was invented by Lyman Reed Blake in 1858 and immediately achieved great success, especially in Italy where it is still among the most used processes today. Its genius lies in the double "Blake" stitching that joins the upper, insole, lining and midsole, while the "Rapid" puts the midsole and sole together, increasing the shoe's resistance and waterproofness.
