Milan
About
Also known as Balmoral, named after the Scottish castle, Oxford or brogue, this shoe certainly has the makings of an international success. Simple but refined, we add a touch of very Milanese sophistication to this model, through the perforated Full Brogue decoration, both on the toe and on the sides of the shoe.
Full grain calf leather
Full grain leather is one of the most valuable materials, because it constitutes the superficial layer of the animal's epidermis and has not undergone particular processes that have altered its natural appearance. Precisely for this reason it maintains the original features of the coat: natural signs such as scars or stretch marks which give naturalness, authenticity and recognisability to the product.
Leather with the possibility of inserting non-slip rubber clips
Leather is a resistant, hygienic, durable and reusable material. Its characteristics remain unchanged for a long time and the passing of time helps to make it more aesthetically beautiful. An additional possibility is to inject anti-slip rubber clips which allow you to maintain the breathability properties of the leather without fearing the rain: this is how the iconic Ciccone sole was born.
Blake Rapid processing
The Blake Rapid process was invented by Lyman Reed Blake in 1858 and immediately achieved great success, especially in Italy where it is still among the most used processes today. Its genius lies in the double "Blake" stitching that joins the upper, insole, lining and midsole, while the "Rapid" puts the midsole and sole together, increasing the shoe's resistance and waterproofness.
Added half rubber sole
To make walking easier on any surface and in any season, almost all our shoes with leather soles are equipped with non-slip rubber clips. But if you want even more security we can apply a thin layer of rubber to the sole, so you can face rain, wind and wet floors with bravado. How does it work? Just one click is enough to add the half rubber sole application option!.
